Day 8

Hey.

What a day! Have had a wonderful day with the children. First we went for a walk together in an hour, and then we went home in our backyard and played for 20 minutes. When we came in we sat and relaxed and got a glass of water each before I made Abby to make a page in her math book while I read and did some things with Spencer. Before we knew it was it lunch time and then Michelle came and helped out.

While she was here I went to the mall with a friend, and said goodbye to one of my girlfriends who had last working day. So a really good day.

In the evening we all went for a walk and ended up at the playground, where we had a lot of fun. We know exactly what we have to do to get each other to laugh. We managed also to get the kids to run a little so they could burn some of all the energy off, so they were pretty tired by that time they had to go to bed.

I would really go to miss them all when I go back home at 5 weeks. It has just been a fantastic year, I could not have thought of a better host family than the  Brenner family - Love you, and you will always have a special place in my heart.
